Network and Distribution Analyst

About the role

Airnorth is looking for a Network and Distribution Analyst to join its Commercial team in Perth or Darwin. The role sits within a finance-professional profile interested in aviation and uses analytical expertise in a commercial and management position. You will maximise revenue through strategic scheduling, revenue management and commercial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Revenue management: manage a dedicated flight portfolio, analyse flight performance and trends, adjust forecasts and pricing, maintain and distribute revenue and forward booking reports, and help meet budgeted revenue targets.
• Commercial support: update fare and tax information, monitor distribution channels and their costs, follow market trends, contribute to strategic projects and produce reports for commercial planning meetings.
• Schedule management: assist in developing and maintaining flight schedules, implement schedule changes, communicate with stakeholders and support ad-hoc scheduling initiatives.
• Pricing: ensure accurate filing and publication of public and private fares, run competitive pricing reviews and recommend fare adjustments, and help develop pricing strategies.
• Additional duties: audit scheduling, revenue management and pricing operations, and take part in special projects as directed by the Network & Distribution Manager.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in aviation, travel, hospitality or finance-related roles (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to interpret data and give actionable insights, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-driven, with strong time management and excellent written and verbal communication, including numerical analysis.
• Legal right to live and work in Australia.
