National Training Manager

About the role

The National Training Manager will lead the training strategy for The Athlete’s Foot stores across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Alexandria, Sydney, you will oversee State Training Managers and partner with store and area managers to deliver impactful learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the national training strategy and annual calendar aligned to business priorities.
• Identify capability gaps and design practical learning programs, including onboarding, product knowledge and leadership development.
• Own the Learning Management System, monitor completion and training effectiveness, and measure impact through KPIs.
• Travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand to deliver training and support stores.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a national or multi‑site learning and development function.
• Strong retail or sales background with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Australia and New Zealand.

• LMS platforms and training data analysis.
