Organisational Design Specialist / Lead (Senior Consultant / Manager)

About the role

EY is seeking an Organisational Design Specialist / Lead to join its People Consulting practice. The role involves leading workforce strategy and organisation design projects for clients across Australia, with the primary base in Melbourne and flexibility for Sydney or Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Support and deliver client engagements, collaborating with EY teams to meet project milestones.
• Analyse workforce and organisational data to generate insights and evidence‑based recommendations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and proactive problem solving.
• Contribute to proposals, thought leadership and business development opportunities.
• For senior and manager levels: lead project teams, coach colleagues, and own end‑to‑end solution design.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience for Consultant level, 3+ years for Senior Consultant, 5+ years for Manager in organisational design or workforce strategy.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with senior business and HR leaders.
• Ability to translate strategy into practical, implementable outcomes.

Required skills

• Experience with operating model development.
• Workforce strategy and strategic workforce planning (SWP) expertise.
• Data‑driven insight generation and analytical problem solving.
