National Manager - Caring@Home Project

About the role

Queensland Health is recruiting a National Manager for its Caring@Home project, a nationally funded initiative improving access to quality end-of-life care at home. The role leads a multidisciplinary team and oversees a multi-million-dollar project budget, with strategic direction and operational leadership for a project funded through to June 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for the national project.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee the project budget.
• Drive national workstreams across advocacy, education, communications, resources and research.
• Build partnerships with Commonwealth, State and Territory governments and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Demonstrated senior leadership and experience managing complex projects or programs across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong financial governance, strategic planning and risk management capabilities.
• Highly developed communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, able to influence at a national level.
• A collaborative, inclusive leadership style committed to culturally safe, equitable and high-quality care.
