National Account Manager – Independent Hardware Channel

About the role

Energizer is seeking a National Account Manager to own and grow key customer portfolios within the Independent Hardware Channel across Australia. You will lead strategic relationships, drive commercial performance and collaborate with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own nationally significant customer relationships and deliver sales, margin, volume and market‑share targets.
• Develop and execute customer strategies, Joint Business Plans and promotional programmes across in‑store and digital channels.
• Manage customer P&Ls, trade investment and ROI, while identifying growth opportunities using category and shopper insights.
• Partner with Marketing, Category, Finance, Supply Chain and Field Sales to turn strategy into action.

Required profile

• Experience in FMCG account management or a comparable commercial environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to manage customer P&L and negotiate trading terms.
• Comfortable using data to generate insights and make informed decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Familiarity with market‑research platforms such as Circana/IRI, QScan or QCheckout.
