National Account Manager – Grocery Channel

About the role

As the National Account Manager for the grocery channel, you will own and grow relationships with major national retailers such as Woolworths, Coles, Metcash, Costco, Aldi and QSR. You will use market insights, category data and commercial analysis to identify opportunities, drive promotional performance and support continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with key national accounts and act as the primary point of contact.
• Develop insight‑led category reviews, promotion and activation plans within agreed budgets.
• Prepare and distribute monthly performance reports to stakeholders.
• Monitor promotional performance, sales results and commercial metrics to inform decision‑making.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and other internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in FMCG account management.
• Proven experience managing major retail accounts, especially Woolworths or Coles.
• Highly analytical, data‑driven and able to turn insights into commercial stories.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IRI / Nielsen data platforms.
• Experience with Quantium or Coles Unify.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting and presentations.
