Multi-Property Reservations Manager

About the role

An experienced, people‑focused Reservations Manager is needed to lead the reservations function across two premier Marriott properties on the Gold Coast – JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa and the new AC Hotel by Marriott Gold Coast. Reporting to the Multi‑Property Director of Sales & Distribution, you will drive team performance, maximise room revenue and ensure a seamless guest experience from booking to arrival.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Reservations team, handling recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Manage daily inventory, pricing and upselling initiatives to maximise room revenue and meet monthly targets.
• Oversee FIT and Group reservations, coordinate group room blocks, and ensure accurate records in Opera PMS.
• Collaborate with Sales, Front Office, Revenue Management and Finance to align booking strategies and resolve guest issues.
• Monitor labour costs, overtime and productivity, and participate in weekly revenue and yield meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a hotel reservations, revenue or front‑office team.
• Strong understanding of hotel inventory management, revenue principles and loyalty programmes.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Opera PMS (including CTAC commission processing).
• Marriott reservation and reporting systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
