Front Office Duty Manager

About the role

Join the Front Office leadership team at voco Gold Coast as a Front Office Duty Manager. You will oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring guests receive exceptional service from arrival to departure while supporting the Front Office team on a rotating roster.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the Front Office team during shifts, acting as senior manager on duty when required.
• Manage guest arrivals, departures, and overall hotel operations, maintaining service standards.
• Monitor hotel security, safety, and compliance procedures.
• Assist with team training, coaching, and development to drive guest satisfaction scores.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Front Office leadership role within a hotel environment.
• Strong customer service, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Full Australian working rights and flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Experience using Opera PMS (highly regarded).
