Guest Service Agent – Front Desk

About the role

Join the Oaks Gold Coast Hotel team as a Guest Service Agent, delivering warm, professional service to every guest from arrival to departure. You will be the first point of contact, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth check‑ins, check‑outs and memorable stays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a friendly reception, manage efficient check‑ins and check‑outs, and address guest inquiries.
• Communicate clearly with guests, colleagues and stakeholders via in‑person, phone and email.
• Process reservations, updates and special requests using the property management system.
• Act as the primary point of contact throughout the stay, offering assistance, resolving issues and giving personalised local recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering high‑quality service in a hotel, hospitality or customer‑facing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple channels.
• Proactive, positive attitude with a strong focus on exceeding guest expectations.
• Professional appearance and polished presentation.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
