Motor Claims Advisor

About the role

The Motor Claims Advisor manages low‑complexity motor insurance claims from notification through to resolution, providing timely support to customers and stakeholders while adhering to delegated authority and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an allocated portfolio of low‑complexity claims from notification through to closure.
• Assess and progress claims in line with documented procedures, client requirements and business standards.
• Gather, review and maintain information required for claim assessment and decision‑making.
• Maintain timely, professional communication with customers, brokers, service providers and other stakeholders.
• Process claim payments and transactions within delegated authority.
• Identify and escalate claims requiring additional technical assessment or higher authority.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date claim records and documentation.
• Support Claims Consultants and team members in effective portfolio management.
