Mobile Plant Operator

About the role

MLG Oz is seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators to join their Perth site. You will operate a range of heavy equipment on high‑performing mining, civil or crushing projects, working within a safety‑focused team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CAT and KOMATSU mobile plant – excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, watercarts and dump trucks – safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre‑start checks, inspections and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Load, haul and move materials according to site requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture and contribute to a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Full valid Australian driver’s licence (HR preferred) and national police clearance.
• Proven experience operating heavy plant in mining, civil or crushing environments.
• High‑risk forklift licence (desirable).

Required skills

• Mobile plant operation – CAT and KOMATSU equipment.
• Heavy machinery handling – excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, watercarts, dump trucks.
• Problem‑solving and strong communication with a safety‑first mindset.
