About the role
Junior Adventures Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Coordinator to support the delivery of high‑quality Outside School Hours Care services across Vermont and surrounding areas. The role involves hands‑on care, supervision, and leadership across before‑school, after‑school and vacation‑care services.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct educational and recreational activities, including food and menu planning, in line with nutrition and safety standards.
- Guide children’s behaviour using positive, inclusive, child‑centred practices and support individual wellbeing, medical and dietary needs.
- Provide direct service leadership and ratio cover, coach and mentor staff, and conduct compliance checks, risk assessments and safety reviews.
- Ensure services comply with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
- Assist with onboarding, rostering, attendance records and service‑improvement initiatives while building relationships with families, schools and the community.
Required profile
- AQF Level 5 or 6 qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent approved qualification for OSHC.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with children in an education and care environment, preferably OSHC.
- Experience leading and supporting teams within regulated education and care services.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel between services in the region.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and My Time, Our Place.
- Ability to plan and implement educational and recreational programs for school‑aged children.
