Medical Treatment Lawyer

About the role

Join Hall & Wilcox’s growing Insurance WA/NT practice in Perth as a Medical Treatment Lawyer, supporting hospitals, healthcare providers and insurers in defending medical treatment and liability claims.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation to hospitals, healthcare providers and insurers in medical treatment and liability matters.
• Manage litigation matters from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery and appearing in court.
• Collaborate closely with senior lawyers Anton Vucak and Yih Ling Wong and contribute to team strategy.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years post‑admission experience, preferably in medical negligence, health law, insurance litigation or personal injury.
• Proven ability to manage litigation matters and work directly with clients.
• Strong legal writing, drafting and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high‑performing team.
