About the role
Sparke Helmore is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join its Insurance team in Perth. You will work closely with senior partners on workers compensation and personal injury matters, providing strategic advice to employers and insurers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage your own files with increasing autonomy, handling complex litigation and dispute resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering pragmatic, commercially‑focused legal advice.
- Draft, negotiate and analyse legal documents related to insurance, workers compensation and personal injury cases.
Required profile
- Qualified lawyer with 1–5 years PQE, preferably from a reputable firm.
- Experience in workers compensation, insurance or personal injury law; defendant experience preferred but plaintiff background considered.
- Demonstrated ability to manage matters autonomously and build client relationships.
Required skills
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach to practice.
