Mechanical Technician – Fixed Plant

About the role

The Mechanical Technician will deliver quality preventative maintenance and repairs for the Fixed Plant infrastructure at the Gruyere processing site. Working on a rostered Fly‑in‑Fly‑out schedule, you will support safe and efficient plant operations while maintaining accurate SAP records.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment and plant infrastructure.
• Complete daily SAP entries, parts requests and close work orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised workshop and work areas to promote safety.
• Adhere to site procedures, work instructions and all safety requirements.

Required profile

• Previous fixed‑plant maintenance experience in a processing environment.
• Recognised mechanical fitting trade qualification.
• Current WA C Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Valid tickets for CN crane, Dogging, Basic rigging, EWP, WAH, Confined Space and forklift.

Required skills

• Preventative mechanical maintenance.
• SAP work‑order management.
• Fixed plant mechanical systems.
• Operation of CN crane, Dogging and rigging equipment.
• Use of elevated work platforms (EWP) and confined‑space procedures.
