Materials Planner

About the role

Join Noumi’s supply chain team as a Materials Planner, responsible for ensuring the right raw materials are available to support production and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute material supply plans aligned with production schedules.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while balancing service, cost and working capital.
• Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to guarantee raw material availability.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to meet delivery expectations.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations teams.
• Support new product launches and phase‑outs by coordinating material availability.
• Analyse planning data and trends to improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
• Maintain planning master data, policies and ERP system accuracy.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across planning and supply‑chain processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Materials, Supply or Production Planning within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as QAD (MFG Pro) or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong analytical ability and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of MRP principles, inventory management and food‑safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
