Market Manager – Sydney

About the role

Airbnb is looking for a Market Manager based in Sydney to drive host retention, growth and optimisation across Australia and New Zealand. You will manage professional host accounts, develop acquisition strategies and act as the local market expert.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a book of professional hosts, ensuring their retention, growth and optimisation on Airbnb.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends and act on opportunities that increase bookings and host revenue.
• Develop and execute innovative supply‑building projects from concept to implementation.
• Secure inventory for high‑compression dates and educate hosts on product updates and policy changes.
• Provide timely, high‑quality support to hosts, including occasional in‑person visits.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, communications, public policy, legal and customer support teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development or customer success.
• 2+ years in technology, travel or hospitality.
• Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of revenue drivers and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage a book of business and drive engagement through proactive account management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools, especially Salesforce (preferred).
