Manager, Sales Engineering

About the role

Lead the Enterprise Sales Engineering team for CrowdStrike in Australia, shaping technical sales strategy, coordinating resources, and driving technical wins across the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical sales campaign, qualify evaluations, approve value hypotheses and ensure successful technical wins.
• Coordinate all technical resources—including sales engineers, product specialists, threat intelligence, professional services, and partners—to deliver a consistent customer experience.
• Provide operational line‑management, performance reviews, coaching, and career development for the team.
• Represent CrowdStrike publicly at industry events, executive round tables, and through published technical content.
• Partner with the Regional Sales Director to align territory strategy, pipeline health, and achieve revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven people leadership in a technical sales or pre‑sales function, including distributed teams.
• Deep cybersecurity domain knowledge covering endpoint, identity, cloud and modern security operations.
• Track record of leading complex enterprise technical evaluations to successful technical wins.
• Ability to engage both technical architects and senior business leaders (CISO, CIO) in the same meeting.
• Public speaking or published market‑facing work (conference presentations, round tables, papers).
