Manager, Educational Design

About the role

Adelaide University is looking for a Manager, Educational Design to lead a team of educational designers at its Adelaide CBD campus. The role partners with academic staff to enhance curriculum quality, improve student outcomes and drive excellence in teaching and learning through contemporary pedagogy, digital innovation and strategic leadership. It is a full-time, continuing position.

Required profile

• Proven track record in managing and mentoring teams, fostering team development and a high-performance culture.
• Strong understanding of educational principles and methodologies in higher education, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing blended and/or online educational programmes.
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder who thrives in a complex environment and influences positive change.

Required skills

• Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy, curriculum design and educational technologies.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems and use of curriculum design principles to create educational content.
• Familiarity with common software tools, including MS Office and other educational technologies.
