Manager - Deal Tax Advisory

About the role

KPMG Australia is seeking a Manager for its Deal Advisory Tax team. You will work on high‑profile transactions across real estate, private equity and infrastructure, providing tax structuring, due diligence and compliance support for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement inbound investment structures, including taxation of trusts and Managed Investment Trusts.
• Conduct tax due diligence, review transaction documents and manage ATO/FIRB correspondence.
• Prepare and review trust and company tax returns, ensuring compliance for clients.
• Support business development initiatives, mentor junior staff and lead project teams.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Tax, Commerce, Finance, Law or related field; postgraduate tax qualification is highly regarded.
• Proven experience delivering tax services on complex transactions for corporate clients.
• Strong client service orientation with a track record of building relationships.

Required skills

• Advanced tax technical knowledge, particularly in trust and investment structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
