Manager, Capital & Provisioning Analytics

About the role

The Capital & Provisioning Analytics Manager sits within the Risk Metrics and Measurement function, offering a unique opportunity to engage a wide range of stakeholders across the Group. You will develop a deep understanding of credit metrics and influence how ANZ distributes risk information and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data‑driven processes and analytics that support various credit‑metrics reporting requirements.
• Ensure the Bank meets internal, regulatory, and statutory reporting requirements by supporting end‑to‑end operational processes.
• Support the preparation of Group and Divisional internal committee and external investor presentations.
• Support change and governance initiatives for credit‑metrics processes.
• Perform other ad‑hoc tasks contributed by the Credit Metrics team.

Required profile

• Strong financial and banking literacy, including credit risk, capital and provisioning concepts (AASB 9).
• Knowledge of banking products, processes and systems, especially those related to Risk and Finance at ANZ.
• Evidence of strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to review, challenge and add value.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven experience building senior stakeholder relationships.
• A mindset of continuous learning, improvement and curiosity.
