Manager - Business Advisory & Tax

About the role

Join one of Perth's most respected boutique advisory firms as a Manager in Business Advisory & Tax. You will work directly with partners to shape strategy for private businesses, family groups, listed entities and not‑for‑profits, while building a clear pathway toward Director or Partner level.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private business and family‑group clients, delivering strategic accounting, taxation and advisory services.
• Lead complex accounting and tax engagements, reviewing financial statements and income‑tax returns.
• Develop trusted relationships with business owners, key stakeholders and senior management.
• Identify commercial opportunities, propose practical solutions and add measurable value.
• Mentor, coach and develop junior team members across two Business Services and Advisory teams.
• Oversee client engagement budgets, timelines and delivery quality.
• Collaborate with partners on business‑development initiatives and practice growth.
• Maintain high standards of technical excellence, risk management and contribute to system and process improvements.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Significant experience in Business Advisory and Tax within a chartered accounting environment, preferably at Senior, Assistant Manager or Manager level.
• Strong technical expertise across private companies, family groups and not‑for‑profit organisations.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality advisory outcomes.
