Senior Associate, Client Portfolio Management

About the role

Barings is seeking a Senior Associate to support the APAC Client Portfolio Management team in capital raising for real‑estate equity and debt products. You will work closely with senior leaders, the Real Estate Investment team and Global Business Development on new and existing business development matters.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor the APAC capital‑raising strategy for real‑estate equity and debt products.
• Coordinate and respond to client Requests for Information and Proposals, and manage investor due‑diligence processes.
• Produce and update investor materials such as presentations, factsheets and deal summaries.
• Organise regular investor reporting, quarterly calls and annual general meetings.
• Act as the primary contact for marketing campaigns and collaborate with research to develop thought pieces.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years experience working with private real‑estate funds in a product or client capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for senior internal and external audiences.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and project‑management abilities.
• Self‑starter able to work independently and as part of a broader team, with willingness to travel.
