Maintenance Electrician (Permanent) – Yamala, QLD

About the role

GrainCorp is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join its Yamala site on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for keeping electrical equipment running safely and efficiently across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fault finding, repair, and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out installations, testing, and tagging of new or refurbished assets.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimise operational impact and complete detailed maintenance reports.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance, safety standards, and audit requirements.
• Work outdoors at various locations, including heights and confined spaces, as required.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with proven hands‑on electrical experience.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work independently with a high degree of autonomy.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Computer literate with good time‑management and communication skills.
• Availability to work during the harvest season and occasional overtime.
