M&A Consulting Consultant – Perth

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant to join our M&A Consulting Services team in Perth. You will work on high‑profile transactions, providing strategic advice and hands‑on support from pre‑deal analysis through post‑deal integration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential acquisitions.
• Develop strategic growth options, acquisition strategies and business cases for clients.
• Provide pre‑deal advisory including market assessment, target selection and structured problem solving.
• Design integration or separation plans, operating models and change‑management approaches to maximise transaction value.
• Support execution activities such as negotiating Transitional Service Agreements, blueprinting and Day‑1 readiness planning.

Required profile

• 2+ years of advisory or consulting experience, preferably in M&A, Big‑4, strategy or boutique consulting.
• Strong academic background – Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification (e.g., CA, CFA, MBA).
• Hands‑on experience in M&A transactions with a focus on post‑deal integration or separation.
