Logistics Specialist

About the role

As a Logistics Specialist at CAS, you will manage daily operational activities across a diverse freight portfolio, ensuring shipments are compliant, deliveries are seamless, and client accounts are up‑to‑date. You will act as a trusted advisor on transport and distribution while contributing to efficiency and resilience strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily FCL, LCL and airfreight shipments from booking through to delivery.
• Lead AQIS and customs compliance, including pay‑in entries and fumigation/inspection bookings.
• Maintain accurate job records in CargoWise and load transport invoices.
• Monitor deliveries to meet deadlines and ensure documentation is correct.
• Protect margins by managing empty container collection and de‑hire within free time.
• Provide strategic and technical support to line managers on transport matters.
• Develop and implement transport strategies supporting sustainable, long‑term goals.
• Partner with customers and overseas agents, keeping them informed.
• Manage transport providers and resolve issues per company procedures.

Required profile

• 3+ years of international freight forwarding experience in Australia.
• Strong knowledge of AQIS and customs requirements.
• Ability to work independently and guide others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
