Global Forwarding Agent – Air Import

About the role

Join C.H. Robinson, a leading global logistics platform, as a Global Forwarding Agent focused on air import shipments. You will be the primary contact for customers, managing the full shipment lifecycle and ensuring smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and execute international shipping processes from purchase order issuance to cargo delivery.
• Coordinate bookings, pre‑alerts, governmental filings, deliveries, and invoicing to meet customer SOPs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party agents to resolve issues quickly and maintain high service standards.
• Provide reporting and documentation support to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in customer business reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (minimum); Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in global forwarding or air import logistics.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication and follow‑up skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with high attention to detail.
• Critical‑thinking, flexibility, and problem‑solving abilities.
