Logistics Senior Lead

About the role

Carma is looking for a Logistics Senior Lead to own the end‑to‑end performance of vehicle flow across its production system. Based at the Granville site, you will lead a newly formed team and truck fleet, ensuring vehicles move through the system with maximum efficiency while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and manage the movement calendar, rostering, and allocation of internal and external fleets across the Sydney metro area to meet throughput targets.
• Monitor daily operations, identify root‑cause disruptions, and implement corrective actions to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Analyse movement data and operational reports to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
• Enforce fleet safety, WHS guidelines, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance, including pre‑start checks and scheduled maintenance.
• Lead, roster and develop the onsite and driver team, handling admin, performance feedback and capability building.
• Coordinate vehicle demand across Buying, Sales, Wholesale and Operations through regular stand‑ups and meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in a fast‑paced production or automotive environment.
• Ability to drive performance through people, set expectations and address under‑performance.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
• Experience in lean or continuous‑improvement environments.
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to complete TLIF0009 training.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance.
• Understanding of fatigue management, mass and load restraint (TLIF0009).
