Logistics Officer – BESS / Dangerous Goods

About the role
The Logistics Officer will coordinate end‑to‑end logistics for battery energy storage systems (BESS) and other dangerous goods, ensuring safe, efficient transport and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international transportation of BESS equipment and components.
- Manage logistics activities from supplier through to project site, including freight forwarders, transport providers and warehouses.
- Handle documentation for dangerous goods and specialised freight, and support import/export and customs processes.
- Monitor shipments, resolve delays and proactively manage logistics issues.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience in BESS logistics or dangerous goods handling.
- Strong understanding of dangerous goods transportation and handling requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Required skills
