Senior Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Logistics Coordinator supports Logistics and Purchasing Coordinators in daily operations, driving accountability and delivering customer‑focused results. You will lead a team of Logistics Coordinators, acting as the bridge between Supply Chain, Operations and the Customer Experience team.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor, train, develop and manage performance of Logistics Coordinators, including monthly 1:1 reviews.
• Oversee inbound product arrivals, coordinate with freight forwarders, transport partners and 3PLs, ensuring KPI alignment.
• Manage outbound order processing, guaranteeing delivery dates and informing Customer Experience Officers of at‑risk shipments.
• Transact directly in Microsoft D365 where EDI is unavailable and monitor EDI transaction integrity.
• Maintain proactive communication with CEOs to provide transparent delivery status.
• Hold logistics partners accountable for service delivery and act as the external “Customer Voice”.
• Prepare periodic reports based on specific customer needs.
• Support financial reporting for landed cost and distribution cost, including invoice reconciliation.

Required profile

• Passionate about customer service.
• 3‑5 years of logistics, warehousing, distribution or freight forwarding experience, preferably with DG or regulated products.
• 1‑3 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Logical, pragmatic and detail‑oriented.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Adaptable to changing environments and responsibilities.
• Formal qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transport Management are highly regarded.
