Locum Emergency Medicine CMO – Fast Track Shifts

About the role
Grafton Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Clinical Medical Officer (CMO) to cover Fast Track locum shifts throughout August 2026. The role involves working in a busy Level 3/4 Emergency Department that sees roughly 28,000 presentations each year.
Key responsibilities
- Provide CMO coverage for the Fast Track stream during the scheduled AM (07:30‑16:00) and PM (14:00‑22:30) shifts.
- Deliver acute patient care within the Fast Track area, supported by senior FACEM staff on every shift.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary ED team to ensure safe and efficient patient flow.
Required profile
- Qualified Emergency Medicine CMO with recent experience in a high‑volume ED.
- Availability for any or all Fast Track shifts in August 2026.
- Willingness to work onsite at Grafton Base Hospital, Northern NSW.
