About the role
VGW is seeking a Litigation Counsel to manage its litigation affairs, provide strategic advice on disputes, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee disputes, arbitration, and litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel and developing litigation strategies.
- Provide oversight and advice on customer or contractual disputes, complaints, and information requests.
- Deliver commercial legal advice, review agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, and advise on internal policies and terms of use.
Required profile
- 6+ years post‑qualification experience with strong commercial litigation and regulatory background.
- Admitted lawyer in Australia with high commercial acumen and ability to translate technical legal information for non‑legal audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and project management skills.
Required skills
- Experience in commercial litigation and regulatory matters.
- Ability to develop and implement litigation strategies.
