Lifestyle Assistant – Morayfield

About the role

Join Regis as a Lifestyle Assistant in Morayfield, where you will create and deliver personalized programs that enhance the physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social wellbeing of our residents. You will work closely with residents, families, and volunteers to ensure a vibrant, engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop individualized lifestyle programs based on resident needs, preferences, and goals.
• Lead and participate in daily activities, ensuring they are engaging and meaningful.
• Conduct comprehensive lifestyle assessments and maintain accurate records.
• Document resident participation and engagement promptly.
• Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver high‑quality activities.
• Support orientation and training of new team members and volunteers.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and volunteers.
• Facilitate community engagement opportunities for residents.

Required profile

• Understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
• Previous experience in a Lifestyle Assistant/Coordinator role, including dementia care.
• Experience with a computerized care management system (desirable) and strong computer literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
