Legal Knowledge Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Knowledge Manager to shape how corporate lawyers create, access and share practical, high‑quality legal know‑how across a global organisation. The role will initially focus on supporting corporate lawyers in Sydney, ensuring they have up‑to‑date templates, guidance and regulatory insights.

Key responsibilities

• Review, audit and enhance existing templates and clause banks.
• Develop and maintain a robust template system that remains legally accurate.
• Improve accessibility and usability of materials, including automation where possible.
• Foster a strong knowledge‑sharing culture and facilitate post‑deal reviews.
• Support and expand internal knowledge databases and topic guides.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and prepare briefings for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Mid‑to‑senior lawyer or established knowledge lawyer with 6‑10 years of experience.
• Strong background in commercial law, preferably corporate or M&A.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and proactive.
• Excellent analytical, commercial and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to translate legal developments into practical guidance.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of corporate and M&A law.
• Experience managing legal templates and clause banks.
• Ability to monitor and analyse regulatory changes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
