Employment Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to provide strategic and pragmatic advice on employment law and workplace safety matters for our market‑leading F100 and ASX‑listed clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and pragmatic advice on a range of employment law and workplace safety matters.
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders.
• Handle employment disputes and litigation, including drafting employer responses to legal claims and letters of demand.
• Support transactional matters such as outsourcing and conduct policy and contract reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience working in Australia.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Employment Laws and the Fair Work Act.
• Awareness of new or pending federal and state legislation, rules and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced legal environment.
• Full Australian working rights and eligibility to practice law in Australia.
