Lecturer (Level B) – Nursing

About the role

The School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking a teaching‑focused Lecturer (Level B) to deliver nursing education, coordinate courses and develop curriculum. The role includes some learning and teaching research and potential supervision of Honours and higher degree research students.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate nursing teaching and assessment.
• Coordinate courses and contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in learning and teaching research or scholarship.
• Supervise Honours and research higher degree students where eligible.

Required profile

• Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with Ahpra.
• Master’s qualification in Nursing (or equivalent) and/or near‑completion of a PhD in Nursing or related discipline.
• Demonstrated track record in tertiary teaching.

Required skills

• Clinical nursing expertise.
• Expertise in infection prevention and control (desirable).
• Expertise in mental health nursing (desirable).
• Expertise in aged care (desirable).
