About the role

The Leader Band B-1 Coordinator will drive inclusive education initiatives and oversee the Special Options program at John Pirie Secondary School. This senior leadership position supports teachers, students, and families to ensure equitable learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and develop the Special Options curriculum and resources.
  • Lead inclusive education strategies across the school.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development for teaching staff.
  • Monitor student progress and implement targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to enhance support services.

Required profile

  • Qualified teacher with current registration.
  • Significant experience in inclusive education and special programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership or coordination experience within a school setting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
