About the role
Infosys Consulting is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to head AI/ML initiatives in Sydney. This senior position combines strong business acumen with deep technical expertise to deliver AI solutions and guide a high‑performing team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team in AI/ML solution delivery aligned with business goals.
- Architect complex workflows and optimise MLOps pipelines on Databricks.
- Develop solutions leveraging Large Language Models such as Mistral and GPT‑4.
- Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and deliver presentations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical AI frameworks.
Required profile
- 8+ years of experience in Data Science or AI roles with hands‑on Databricks expertise.
- Strong knowledge of MLOps and model lifecycle management.
- Proven leadership and exceptional communication skills.
