Lawyer – Property, Commercial, Litigation & Construction

About the role

Our client, a boutique commercial law firm with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Hong Kong, is seeking a Lawyer/Associate (2–5 years PQE) to join its Property, Commercial, Litigation and Construction team. The role offers autonomy, direct client exposure and clear career progression within a modern, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of property, commercial, litigation and construction matters.
• Advise on residential and commercial conveyancing, property developments, commercial transactions, leasing and dispute resolution.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, Section 32 statements, commercial agreements, leases and litigation correspondence.
• Work closely with overseas investors on Australian property transactions and foreign investment requirements.
• Mentor a Junior Lawyer and Property Paralegal, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.

Required profile

• 2–5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in Property Law with exposure to Commercial, Litigation or Construction Law.
• Experience with international clients or FIRB matters is advantageous.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
