Knowledge Lawyer – Commercial (Hybrid, Melbourne/Sydney)

About the role

Hall & Wilcox is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer to join its national Commercial practice. Working within the Knowledge team, you will support lawyers across Dispute Resolution, Corporate & Commercial, Employment, Private Clients, Tax and Property groups, helping them access up‑to‑date expertise and deliver high‑quality legal work.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure firm‑wide writing adheres to style guidelines and maintain precedent libraries.
• Develop and advise on legal precedents, guidance notes and process improvements.
• Collaborate on document and workflow automation projects with the Client Solutions team.
• Contribute to the firm’s AI initiatives and curate reference material for easy access.
• Coordinate legal skills training, current awareness updates and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Proofread, edit communications and deliver training sessions as required.

Required profile

• At least two years post‑admission experience, preferably in dispute resolution or litigation.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Interest in knowledge sharing, risk management and legal technology.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
