Kitchen Porter

About the role

Liquid & Larder, a Sydney-based hospitality group, is looking for a reliable and driven Kitchen Porter for its venue Alfie's. The role is central to the kitchen and offers genuine opportunities to grow for those with the right attitude and drive. Morning shifts run Wednesday and Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm, and night shifts run 4:00pm until close (about 11:30-11:45pm).

Key responsibilities

• Keep dishes, pots and pans clean and service-ready.
• Manage rubbish and recycling efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Support chefs and the wider team as needed.
• Close down the kitchen to a high standard each shift.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role.
• Previous experience in a busy kitchen is preferred.
• Calm, reliable and team-focused, with strong attention to detail.
• Organised with good communication skills.
• Available for a flexible roster, including weekends, mornings and evenings.
