Casual Night Manager - University of Sydney

About the role

UniLodge is looking for a casual Night Manager to join its team at The University of Sydney. The role covers the overnight hours, with resident safety as a top priority and responsibility for the building's management and wellbeing. Candidates must be adaptable and able to think on their feet and resolve problems as they arise.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor building security and safety, perform perimeter checks and resolve issues or emergencies while on duty
• Handle administration tasks such as maintaining records, processing payments, auditing and reporting
• Manage incidents during the night shift, including grievances and conflict resolution
• Support residents as a friendly, open point of contact for assistance, information and welfare
• Respond to resident calls about noise or disturbances and lock-outs
• Attend required training and mandatory staff meetings

Required profile

• Valid working rights in Australia and New Zealand
• National Police Check within 3 months
• Working with Children Check (NSW)
