Casual Bartender

About the role

Liquid & Larder, a Sydney-based hospitality group, is looking for experienced, charismatic bartenders for The Rover, a Surry Hills neighbourhood bar open Monday to Saturday from 4pm. The position is casual and involves cross-training across the venue, such as hosting, shaking tins, guiding guests through the food menu and occasionally shucking oysters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage service in line with venue standards and the sequence of service
• Prepare and serve drinks to The Rover's specifications
• Assist with bar set-up, pack-down and daily operations
• Build and maintain strong guest relationships
• Contribute positively to venue culture and teamwork

Required profile

• Proven experience in a premium or hatted venue
• Confident, calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
