Kitchen Hand / Cleaner - Part-Time

About the role

Aegis Alfred Carson, a residential aged care facility in Claremont, is looking for energetic and experienced Kitchen Hands / Cleaners for a variety of available shifts. The role is part-time and involves preparing and serving residents' meals and keeping the workplace clean and hygienic.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve residents' meals according to dietary and care plans, following the menus developed by the facility.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in line with infection control standards.
• Ensure correct food handling techniques are always followed.

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare or aged care.
• Experience preparing and cooking food for large numbers of people.
• Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
• Knowledge of infection control and commercial cleaning, including the safe use of chemicals.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
• Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts across weekdays and weekends.
