Bistro Attendant

About the role

The Claremont Hotel, affectionately known as "The Mont" and part of the Federal Hospitality group, is a recently renovated venue on Main Road in Claremont, Tasmania. It serves bistro meals, drinks and casual dining for locals and visitors. As a bistro attendant you will attend to guest inquiries, prepare and serve beverages, run food and take orders, with exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patrons with food and beverage orders, inquiries and complaints
• Take orders and run food to tables
• Help with large groups or bookings
• Assist with opening and closing the bistro
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards

Required profile

• Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
• Understanding of food and beverage products and services
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA)
• Willingness to work night, weekend and public holiday shifts
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Pre-employment and ongoing screening checks may apply
