Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Broome Time Resort, a hospitality destination in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead its housekeeping team. The role is based in Broome and focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and guest satisfaction across resort facilities, while managing schedules, training and quality control.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff so all resort areas are kept to the highest standards
• Schedule and allocate work assignments to team members, optimising efficiency and coverage
• Train, mentor and support team members in cleaning procedures, safety protocols and guest service
• Inspect guest rooms, common areas and back-of-house facilities against resort standards
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, place orders and manage stock
• Resolve maintenance issues promptly by liaising with engineering and maintenance teams
• Handle guest requests and complaints about room cleanliness and housekeeping services
• Maintain records of room status, team performance and cleaning schedules
• Uphold health, safety and environmental standards and communicate with front office, guest services and management

Required profile

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a housekeeping department, preferably in a hotel or resort
• Experience in a resort or leisure hospitality setting preferred
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Physical capability to perform housekeeping duties when required
