Kitchen Attendant

About the role

Royal Sydney, a prestigious private members' club in Australia, is looking for a Kitchen Attendant to report directly to the Executive Chef. The role keeps the kitchen areas clean and hygienic. It is a casual position with shifts starting at 8:30am and finishing by 11:00pm, covering weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Operate an industrial dishwasher.
• Clean and wash up.
• Handle goods manually.
• Apply cleaning chemicals correctly.
• Support the chefs with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Follow food safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
• Understanding of WHS and food hygiene procedures.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends.
• Good communication skills and experience working in a team.
• Prior experience in a high-volume environment.
• Self-motivated and energetic.
