Key Account Manager - Southeast Queensland

About the role

BlueScope's Building Markets Team is looking for a Key Account Manager to join its team at the Acacia Ridge site. You will manage and grow relationships with key customers across the Southeast Queensland region, helping drive profitable growth in revenue and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders across multiple levels.
• Understand customer needs, market activity and emerging opportunities across the SEQ region.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase use of COLORBOND and TRUECORE products.
• Create and execute strategic account plans aligned with the broader sales and channel strategy.
• Work with internal teams and channel partners to deliver value for customers.
• Use customer and market insights to develop value propositions and identify new opportunities.
• Deliver profitability and sales targets, including volume, EBIT and market share.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience building and managing long-term customer relationships.
• Proactive account management approach with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of customer and market drivers.
• Ability to navigate complex sales channels and engage a range of stakeholders.
• Confidence using customer and market insights to build tailored value propositions.
