Key Account Manager

About the role

Viva Energy is looking for a commercially astute and relationship‑driven Key Account Manager to lead strategic relationships and contract delivery for a portfolio of customers within the Resources Team. You will act as a trusted advisor, grow accounts and deliver value through an integrated sales, operational, technical and marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic relationships and ensure contract delivery for assigned customers.
• Own and grow customer relationships, identifying innovative, value‑added solutions.
• Develop and execute a well‑defined account strategy that blends sales, operational excellence, technical expertise and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure seamless contract compliance, continuous improvement and sustainable commercial performance.
• Lead multiple projects concurrently, applying project‑management best practices.
• Improve end‑to‑end supply‑chain efficiency and solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate across commercial, technical, operational and marketing functions to achieve strategic outcomes.
• Influence multiple decision‑makers and stakeholders at corporate level.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with a proactive attitude.
• Strong commercial acumen and a passion for delivering and exceeding customer expectations.
• Experience in strategic B2B account management or sales environments.
• Ability to manage commercial negotiations and support tender responses.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to align with business priorities.
• Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders across diverse functions.
