Junior Google Ads Specialist

About the role

Chain Social is seeking a Junior Google Ads Specialist to manage, optimise and grow paid search campaigns for its portfolio of Australian beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands. Based in the Mornington headquarters, the role offers both part‑time and full‑time arrangements for candidates who thrive on data‑driven performance and measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and optimise SEM campaigns, including keyword research, competitor analysis and conversion‑rate testing.
• Monitor budgets and ROI, using Google Analytics and Tag Manager to track performance and generate reports.
• Craft compelling ad copy, visuals and messaging that align with each client’s brand tone and campaign objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, Google partners and internal teams to troubleshoot technical issues and improve outcomes.
• Provide actionable insights, monthly reporting and quarterly strategy presentations to support client growth and identify upsell opportunities.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of agency experience, preferably focused on paid search or SEM.
• Proven track record managing Google Ads campaigns that deliver measurable results.
• Comfortable supporting client accounts from performance analysis to strategic recommendations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
